Delete your Alpas Parent account

1. Delete it in the app

1. Open Alpas Parent and sign in.
2. On Home, tap the account icon at the top right.
3. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen.
4. Read what is removed, enter your password, and tap Delete my account.
5. Confirm once more.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every phone. There is no waiting period, and it can't be undone.

2. What is deleted

• Your name, email address, phone number and other profile details.
• The links between your account and your children, so their records are no longer shown to you.
• Your notifications, the push notification tokens for your phones, and your sign-in history.
• Your two-step sign-in settings and remembered devices.

Nobody can sign in to the account again. Your email address is freed, so you can create a new account at the same school later; you would then ask the school for a new code for each child.

3. What your school keeps, and why

• Messages you already sent to teachers and staff.
• Excuse letters you filed, and their attachments.
• Requests you sent to the school office.
• Payments, receipts and your child's account balance.
• The parent or guardian contact details the school keeps in your child's enrolment record.
• A log of text messages the school sent you.

These are part of your child's school record, which the school is responsible for keeping. Where they show your account, they read “Deleted parent”. Receipts, absence notes and the guardian contact card the school keeps are the school's own records, so they may still show your name. To have the school correct or remove any of them, contact the school directly.

4. Without the app

Email support@quirae.com from the email address you use to sign in, name your child's school, and say you want your Alpas Parent account deleted.

• We act only on a request sent from the account's own address, so that nobody else can delete your account.
• We delete it within 30 days, exactly as the app would, and reply to tell you it is done.

5. Staff and student accounts

Accounts for teachers, staff and students, including Alpas Staff accounts, are created and closed by the school. To close one, ask the school office.
